Dear Pastor, Supporters and Friends,

 

    Greetings in the name of Jesus!  We once again want to thank you for your prayers and support of the ministry.  We continue to be blessed beyond measure as we represent you and our Lord on this mission field. 

 

   More than 10,000 precious Mexican souls pass into eternity each week – over half a million each year!  Most of those will be condemned to a devil’s hell since they have been deceived by Satan’s lies propagated by the Catholic Church.  Sadly, we are not doing enough to reach our neighbor for Christ.

 

   I recently finished a biography on Hudson Taylor the great missionary to China.  Shortly before he founded the China Inland Mission he came to the realization that missionaries would never reach China – trained Chinese Christians would be the only ones that could.  Although for many years I have understood this reality, it seems as if the Lord has been pressing it upon me more and more recently.

 

  We must train more of our converts, not only to win souls and give to missions, but to be pastors, missionaries and full time Christian workers.  There is just too much work to be done, too much ground to be covered to continue at the present rate.  The Lord has given me a burden to train 100 new pastors or missionaries in the next 10 years, even this is not enough for the task at hand, but it is a start.

   

   Lord willing, we are starting the Grace Bible Institute in January 2009 in Bermejillo Durango.  This is a strategic location that will allow for lots of practical training.  We have the men that are willing to dedicate their lives to be trained for the gospel ministry.  Will you partner with us in this great task?

 

   There will be a great expense in housing, feeding, and caring for these men and their families.  We need 300 people that will faithfully pray for these men and the Bible institute and who will contribute a minimum of $50 semi-annually towards the expense of training these men.  The financial situation in Mexico as well as the busy schedule of these men will not allow them to hold regular outside employment.  We believe it is God’s will and leading to train these men – but we need help with the expense.

   If you will support this project with your faithful prayers and with a special offering of $50 before January 1^st and a second $50 by July 1^st, 2009 we will make you a founding member of The Gideon’s Band supporting the Grace Bible Institute.  We will send a special prayer letter every 2 months with progress reports and sections written by the men you will be supporting, photos, and other special recognition for your generosity. Several have already committed to take part in this project – Will you join them?
