Dear Friends, Prayer Warriors and Faithful Supporters,
Thank you once again for your faithful prayers and support. We have been busy the last several months working in the mission in Carlos Chavira, with a couple mission trips, a visit from our pastor and his wife, the wedding our daughter Amanda, and several out of town guests. It was one of our busiest summers, but as always we were greatly blessed! We saw several hundred people make professions of faith, many baptized and growth in the mission works. We are now settling into the routine of the school year with home school starting. We have a trip scheduled the first part of October so I guess that will be our fall break!
PRAISE!! Roca Fiel Baptist Church: Carlos Chabira. This mission works continues to develop into a church. We have had many saved, and several have followed the Lord in believer’s baptism. (We have used an inflatable raft as our baptistry.) We have also had many that are studying our Bible course. We took our first mission trip and visited our missionary in Durango – Bro. Angel Luna. There were eight people from the church that went with us, including the unsaved father of one of our young people. Needless to say, he wasn’t unsaved long! We saw several saved on this trip and had two young men surrender to serve the Lord. Bro. Angel has several new people that attend the church from this trip.
Being a new work we still have several needs that maybe you can help us with. We need a reliable vehicle for our national pastor Josue. His car has been broken all summer. If you have a older reliable vehicle or know someone that does, would you consider donating it to our ministry? The best vehicle would be a 4 Cyl. that gets decent gas mileage. Another need is for building materials as we try to finish up the building before winter. If you can help in either area, let us know.
PRAISE!! Mission Trips. Bible Baptist Church from Jacksonville, AR went with us on a trip to Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua to help Bro. Reuben Robles. There were 22 from the group. We held 3 open air meetings and had over 200 professions of faith! We were able to help several projects around the church including painting, stuccoing the side of the church, and fixing an air conditioner. The group also passed out over 7,000 gospel tracts and put together over 700 discipleship courses.
We used the soccer balls for the first time on this trip and there were over 30 new visitors in attendance for Sunday school. Would you consider helping us purchase the soccer balls for use on the mission field? See the enclosed flyer for more details.
Mission Trips 2007 We are now scheduling trips for 2007. The only way you will ever know how much a mission trip will do for you is to come and join us! Why let everyone else have all the fun and see the mission field first hand. Call or write today (while it is fresh on your mind) so you can experience a life-changing mission trip. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
