“O taste and see that the LORD is good:”    Psalm 34:8

Greetings from South of the Border!  The Lord sure has been good to us – I don’t even know where to begin.  We have seen souls saved, baptized and discipled.  We have seen new leaders blossom into great preachers and church planters.  We hosted a mission trip to visit Bro. Angel and the work in Bermejillo Durango.  Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.”

A Special Thanks for those who prayed for us or supported our ministry in any way – you are the ones that make it possible for us to be here.

PRAISE!!  Roca Fiel Baptist Church: Carlos Chavira.   The Lord continues to bless us in this new church.  Last Sunday we celebrated our national pastor (Josue Robles).  We thank God for this man that He has provided to head this work.  There have been several new families attending.  Average attendance is over 50 each week.  One young man, Enrique has started teaching the children for the past several services.  Kelly and Bro. Dies have been working with him and he is doing a fine job.  He plans to graduate school in May and plans to attend the Bible institute next fall.

The Lord has blessed this month by meeting some physical needs.  Bro. Josue was finally able to get his car running after being broken all summer.  We were able to purchase an older 15 Passenger van from Bible Baptist Church in Jacksonville, AR for $500 and it is now being used for the new bus ministry here. It was over capacity its first Sunday in service! We still need older vans for the churches or 4 cylinder cars for our workers.  If you can help in either area or know someone who might, let us know.

PRAISE!!   Victory Baptist Church from Benton, AR went with us on a trip to Bermejillo, Durango to help Bro. Angel Luna (2005 Graduate from the institute).  There were 14 total in our group. We held 2 open air meetings and 4 medical clinics and had well over 100 professions of faith!

We were able to help several projects including fixing up a building with a couple rooms to be used for children’s classes.  The group also passed out over 4,000 gospel tracts and put together over 500 song books.  We used the soccer balls again (thanks to those who have contributed) and they helped greatly again!  The Sunday service had over 100 in attendance – for a church less than 6 months old!

PRAISE!!   Spanish Bible.  As many of you know, there has never been a Spanish Bible that has been 100% faithful to the Textus Receptus.  Some of the available Spanish Bibles are better than others but there is finally a new revision of the old Spanish Bible that is 100% faithful to the Textus Receptus and therefore an equivalent to the King James in English.  We are personally giving towards this printing project and urge you to help in this project as well.  Please see the flyer on back for more information.

MISSION TRIPS 2007   Have you ever gone into an ice cream shop and tasted a flavor on one of those little spoons?  I have – more than I should admit!  Why do they give the little sample?  They know if you like it you’ll buy more!  Just taste it!  The same principle holds true with mission trips.  Just come and taste missions for a week – why? – Because we know from experience and it has been proven that people that come on a trip will get more involved in missions.  It’s just a fact!  O taste and see that MISSIONS is good!  People that go on missions trips are better soul winners, better prayer partners, better missions givers than those that don’t!   We are now scheduling trips for 2007    Call Now (915)241-3233
