Dear Friends, Prayer Partners and Supporters,
The farmer plants his field, and then he waters it, cultivates it, gets the weeds out over and over again. If he continues to do these things he will reap – sometimes a large crop, sometimes smaller, but he will reap as long as he doesn’t stop (faint) before the harvest. One Bible college professor of mine always said, “Stick and Stay and make it Pay.” How true this is in the ministry. As missionaries sometimes we get tired physically, but we continue to strive ahead knowing that we shall reap as well. Thank you for your steadfastness in prayer and financial support.
PRAISE!! Roca Fiel Baptist Church: Carlos Chavira. The work here continues to receive God’s blessing. We recently held baptismal services again and there are several new families that are involved in our discipleship program. Construction continues on the building. We are currently in the process of stuccoing the second story. We have a work day on April 28th and hope to finish all the plumbing and sheetrock for the second floor. Once that is completed our national pastor and his family will be able to move in. Please pray that the Lord will supply the rest of the financial needs to finish this building. We are lacking around $7,000 to finish and pay off the land. If the Lord would lead you to help in this area – any gifts can be sent to our home church. We still need older vans for the churches or 4 cylinder cars for our workers. If you can help in either area or know someone who might, let us know.
PRAISE!! Grace Bible Institute: Anapra Classes continue to go well in the Bible institute. We have had two students drop out but still have 9 enrolled. We were able to take the students on a mission trip to the state of Durango in March. We worked with Brother Angel, and two other pastors and held 3 open air meetings and saw well over 100 professions of faith during our time there. Please pray that these would remain faithful.

We praise the Lord for allowing us to purchase the land to build the building. It is in a great location and measures approx. 40’ X 60’. We had been able to save some money and with the help of a couple brothers from Arkansas we raised $1500. The owner wanted $2000 for the lot, but God worked in his heart and he sold it to us for the $1500 we had been able to raise.
Most of our short term mission groups will help us construct this building. Won’t you consider coming and helping? Or maybe you can help us purchase some the building materials? We plan to make our own adobes for the walls.
PRAYER REQUESTS: 1) 4th Anniversary service May 20th we are praying for and working towards our attendance goal of 1000 adults and teens for this special day and for at least 100 saved. 2) Pay off lot and finish construction in Carlos Chavira. 3) Construction of building in Durango. 4) Gas saving vehicle for our family. (Our gasoline expense is over $750 per month)
