PRAISE GOD ~ A VICTORY IN MEXICO!!
“Praise God and Shame on the Devil!” my friend Bro. Carlos Demarest would have said. May 20th was set aside as a special day to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the Grace Bible Baptist Church in Anapra, Chihuahua Mexico and the Lord gave a mighty victory!
Although we didn’t hit our attendance goal of 1000, the Lord blessed us with over 800 people present and we hit our “real” goal of 100 plus professions of faith in Christ.
Pastor Reuben Robles of Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua was our guest preacher and he preached with fire and zeal and gave a clear presentation of the gospel. When the invitation was given well over 100 people prayed and asked Christ to forgive their sins. There were over 250 first-time visitors that filled out cards that will help to begin the process of following up. Pray for even more harvest from this day of victory.
PRAISE!! Roca Fiel Baptist Church: Carlos Chavira. God continues to bless and this work continues to mature. God is working in the hearts of several of the new members about full time service. One man, Bro. Joel has recently made some great strides and showed up in services with his hair cut. This was a victory for him as he has had a long pony tail for many years. Brother Reuben Robles preached for us here on May 20th as well and there were 5 salvation decisions and a full altar of those making a commitment to be better soulwinners and do more to reach this world with the gospel. I think just 2 or 3 remained in their seats at the invitation. Please see back for information on how you can help us finish this church. Please help if you are able.
PRAISE!! Iglesia Bíblica Bautista de Gracia: Bermejillo Durango Pastor Angel Luna. The foundations are being dug for the building and materials are being purchased to construct the church building. Brother Angel reports that there are several candidates for baptism and in spite of Satan’s attacks this new work continues to move forward.
PRAYER REQUESTS: 1) Summer Mission Trips will be in full swing by the time you read this please pray for souls to be saved and for lives to be changed. 2) Pay off lot and finish construction in Carlos Chavira. (see back) 3) Construction of building in Durango. 4) Gas saving vehicle for our family. (Our gasoline expense is over $800 per month)
