PRAISE!! Roca Fiel Baptist Church: Carlos Chavira, Juarez, Chih. Pastor Josue Robles On October 14, 2007 the above verse became a reality in our ministry. As we were making plans for our second anniversary we realized that we just couldn’t get all the people we were praying and working for into our building. Our building isn’t even complete and we have already out grown it on special days! What a good problem to have! We decided the best thing would be to have the service in a nearby park.
The people of our church worked and prayed hard. We had several times where we passed out flyers and tracts with an invitation to our special day. Well Praise God! He sent us 397+ people, nearly double the number we were hoping for, there were over 75 salvation decisions and we were able to get addresses of several families that expressed interest in coming to our services! Thank YOU for your prayers and support!
I believe that mission trips are so beneficial for those that go that we encourage, and make it possible for our churches in Mexico to participate in them. The end of September we took 24 people from this work on a short trip to Casa Grandes to help missionary Marshal Dies get started in his new work. We held 2 open air meetings and preached the gospel to several hundred people! Several were saved and some prospective families identified for church. Bro. Dies reported 3 adult visitors the Sunday after we were there. Our people came home excited and ready to work like never before.
Wouldn’t you like your church fired up to work for the Lord? Bring them on a trip next year!
PRAISE!! Iglesia Bíblica Bautista de Gracia: Bermejillo Durango Pastor Ángel Luna. We are planning on going to put the roof on the building the week of November 10-17. Brother Angel told me he has several more candidates for baptism and that they have had several new people attending services. Pray for them to have many more saved and that the church would continue to grow.
PRAISE!! Grace Bible Institute: Col Anapra, Cd. Juarez Chihuahua Graduation for the class of 2007 is scheduled for Dec. 8th. Throughout the year we lost some students but still have 5 that should graduate. Please pray for them as they finish up their classroom training and leave for their future ministries.
