Dyck Family Prayer Letter

Dear Praying Friends,

Well, it is tax time again, and that reminds me of the verse in Romans 14: 12. "So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God." And also, I Corinthians 4:2 "Moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful." We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your faithfulness in supporting us, not only in finances, but also in prayer support. We could not make it here with out you. We know that God will I richly bless you for your faithfulness to Him.

We have had a quiet, but busy winter. Due to various colds and allergies, our school year got a little behind. Penny and the children are/working hard to catch up. David will be done this week. I guess that is the advantage of being in first grade. The other three should be finished by mid to end of May. They are already eagerly looking forward to their summer vacation.

We have been able to plant a fairly large garden this year, just a few tomato plants left to put in. This is a great family project and all the children enjoy getting involved.

Best of all we are looking forward to a great season of trips this summer. One of the planned trips will be with one of our supporting churches out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and another, later in June, will be our home church, Victory Baptist Church of Harvey, ND. We are so excited they are coming to see us, and would love for more of you to be able to spend some of your valuable time with us!

Our summer is filling in rapidly. One of the big projects in the works for Penny is organizing Vacation Bible School for the church we attend here in EI Paso. This is her first year doing the planning, so she is excited and a little nervous. Pray that the turnout will be good, and we will be able to reach many boys and girls for Jesus. I will be busy with the trips, of course.

Please keep us in your prayers. Please pray for the churches of Bermejillo [behr-me-HEE-yo), and Carlos Chavira, and Nuevo Casas Grandes as we continue to help build them up and encourage them through the trip ministry. We are also hoping to help start one, or maybe even two new churches this year. We will be working with national pastors in the cities to which God has called them.

Thank you again for all you have done for us.
